A headline typeface with strong contrast between horizontal and vertical strokes. Based on sketches from Kkotdam by Jieun Kim (2014), it was redesigned in collaboration with Mingoo Yoon. It carries a sharp yet soft sensibility. Its letterforms reveal their character most clearly at large sizes, particularly above 24pt. A separate set of vertical glyphs ensures visually balanced alignment in both horizontal and vertical writing.

SH cheongbaji 1873 is a bold, straight, De–squared typeface. It is built from minimal elements. In characters with final consonants, the meeting of strokes can be observed. Because of this feature, all 11,172 Korean characters in Cheongbaji appear in nine different vertical heights. Punctuation—periods, commas, and underscores—is adjusted in nine steps according to the height of the preceding character. Cheongbaji can also be used with extremely tight letter spacing, making lines of text appear as if woven from densely packed thick threads.
SH 청바지 1873은 직선적이고 볼드한 탈네모꼴 활자체이다. 꾸밈없는 요소들로 이루어졌다. 받침이 있는 낱자들에서 획과 획이 맞붙는 특징이 도드라진다. 이러한 특징을 따르며 청바지 속 한글 11,172자는 총 9가지의 높낮이를 가지게 됐다. 선행하는 낱자의 높낮이에 따라 문장부호—마침표, 쉼표, 언더스코어—의 위치가 9단계로 조정된다. 자간을 극단적으로 줄여서 사용해 봐도 좋다. 굵은 실로 새까맣게 직조된 듯한 글줄을 만나게 될 것이다.
